FirmTek announced the immediate availability of its new SeriTek/2SE4 high performance PCI-X Serial ATA adapter on Monday. The card is designed for Appleis Power Mac G5, and includes four eSATA ports that can support up to five drives each.
The SeriTek/2SE4 supports Mac OS X boot capability, RAID configurations, hot-swapping drives, and data transfer speeds up to 3 gigabits per second. It is priced at US$199.95, and is available at the FirmTek Web site.
