Excel Software has announced the availability of manual sets for all Excel Software engineering products. The manuals are in the PDF format, and are available for download. According to Excel Software:
Excel Software has created Portable Document Format (PDF) files of the manual set for the current version of each of its software engineering products. Product and site license customers can download free PDF manuals from the Support page. Starting November 1, 2001 all Excel Software products will include PDF manuals on CD in addition to the full printed manual set.
Software engineering tools are often used in large organizations with many users at various locations on the network. System analysts and software designers typically need portability when working with customers, reviewing design work or interacting with other developers. PDF manuals give users instant access to thousands of pages of on-line documentation including introduction, tutorial and user guides.
