The team behind the G5 Drive Bracket has announced a drop to US$49 for the product, which enables Power Mac G5 owners to add up to three hard drives inside their computers, on top of the two that they can already accommodate. Itis compatible with SCSI, IDE and SATA drives.
The G5 Drive Bracket does not work with the latest Dual Core Power Mac G5 but does work with all previous models. Apple is expected to update the Power Mac to a new Intel-based machine this summer, but itis unknown in the G5 Drive Bracket will be compatible with it.
