After a brief beta period, Three-2-One Software has released the final version of their ID3 tag tool, ID3X. The new utility allows users to easily add and edit the identifying information associated with MP3 files, known as ID3 tags. According to Three-2-One:

ID3X is an editor for easy manipulation of ID3 tags in mp3 music files. ID3 tags are used to store title, artist and other information in mp3 files which can then be displayed in your favorite mp3 player application.
New in this version:
- many bug fixes
- handling of ID3V2 tags improved in general
- new: version 1 and 2 tags can be switched on the fly
- new: changed the "genre" functionality: second genre is now a refinement editfield
- new: copy and paste of all tag fields
