A escapia AB has announced an update to Hallowed Ground, bringing the game to version 1.1. Hallowed Ground is a top-down, 3rd person tactical shooter, and the new version includes both enhancements and bug fixes. From Aescapia:
AESCAPIA AB has just released major version 1.1 of our popular Mac-first
game Hollow Ground.Public beta testing of our official Hollow Ground level editor (HollowED) also begun on 10 April 2004. The final version of HollowED is expected to be released in the end of April 2004. The level editor is freeware.
The new version of Hollow Ground is our first major update and includes more than one hundred additions and adjustments as well as some bug fixes. Some of the more important additions are a new monster, 2 new songs, 3 new bonus levels, destructible items, 2 new psi foci cannisters.
Hollow Ground is a one or two-player tactical shooter that takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. Four mercenaries have to make an unwelcome journey to rid a war-weary world of a new threat of extinction, a terrible biomechanical weapon of mass destruction. Hollow Ground is shareware.
