I.R.I.S. Group Adds 4 New Languages To IRISPen II At Macworld

I.R.I.S. Group has released a new version of the IRISPen II from the Macworld floor. The IRISPen II is an OCR device designed for scanning data, including text, into any Mac application. The latest version features support for Asian languages including Chinese. According to I.R.I.S. Group:

version of the IRISPen II for the recognition of 4 Asian Languages in addition to the 91 existing languages. These Asian languages are: Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

The IRISPen II allows the user to input printed text, figures, manuscript figures and bar codes and to send them directly and instantaneously to ANY Macintosh application (such as word processors, spreadsheets, e-mail, on line data bases, accounting programs&Mac183;).
