ID3X 2.0 Released With iPod Support

Three-2-One has released a new version of ID3X, bringing it to version 2.0. ID3X is a MP3 file editor designed for renaming music files for iPod and iTunes. The new version now has iPod support and other features. According to Three-2-One:

ID3X is the perfect companion to iTunes, iPod or other MP3 playing software or hardware device.

ID3X is an editor for easy manipulation of ID3 tags in mp3 music files. ID3 tags are used to store title, artist and other information in mp3 files which can then be displayed in your favorite mp3 player application.

Important changes:

  • new user interface adopts OSX look and feel
  • added four batch functions - more to come!
  • overall much faster and more reliable
  • user configurable preset menus
  • autocomplete fields make editing even easier
  • cover art can now be applied as file icons (OS 9, only)
  • search the internet for artists, albums, titles and lyrics
  • the hidden iPod folder is shown and can be edited (please verify, weive got not iPod, yet)
  • bug fixes as usual
