ID3X Update To 2.3

Three-2-One has released an update for ID3X, bringing it to version 2.3. ID3X is a MP3 file editor designed for renaming music files for iPod and iTunes. The update has several new features and performance enhancements. According to Three-2-One:

We are proud to announce a major update of our shareware ID3 editor "ID3X" for the Apple Macintosh (Carbon version)

ID3X is the perfect companion to iTunes, iPod or other MP3 playing software or hardware device.

ID3X is an editor for easy manipulation of ID3 tags in mp3 music files. ID3 tags are used to store title, artist and other information in mp3 files which can then be displayed in your favorite mp3 player application.

The new version allows applying cover artwork that was added to MP3 files as file and folder icons including support for large icons under OSX. A new batch mode was added for fixing track numbers including the ability to reconstruct those from file names and offset existing ones. Minor changes include better recognition of MP3 files, cosmetical improvements and the usual bug fixes.

You can find more information about the ID3X update at the Three-2-One Web site. ID3X 2.3 is available for US$15.00.
