Impression 1.1 Update Features Expanded Backup Support

The Babel Company has released an update for Impression, bringing it to version 1.1. Impression is a utility designed for the secure backup of optical disc directories. The update features incremental and differential backup support and more. According to The Babel Company:

The Babel Company is pleased to announce the 1.1 release of Impression, a backup utility
for Mac OS X.

Impression is a low cost backup utility used to back up directories to (and restore them from) multiple optical discs (CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD-R are supported). It includes a utility for erasing rewritable discs.

Whatis new in this version (short version):

  • Incremental/differential backups
  • Impression now references session documents to recall any previous backup state
  • Disc burn preferences are now handled on a per-disc as opposed to a global basis
