Impression Gets Maintenance Update From The Babel Company

The Babel Company has released an update for Impression, bringing it to version 1.65. Impression is a utility designed for the secure backup of optical disc directories. The update features UI enhancements and several bug fixes. According to The Babel Company:

The Babel Company is pleased to announce the 1.65 release of Impression, a backup utility for Mac OS X.

Impression is a low cost backup utility used to back up directories to (and restore them from) multiple optical discs (CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD-R are supported). It includes a utility for erasing rewritable discs.

Impression 1.65 brings number of bug fixes and UI improvements to the backup application for OS X.

Various application flow issues have been addressed, and several backup engine bugs have been cured. Impression has also been recompiled and tested with the current version of Panther, though a few bugs remain in the forthcoming version of OS X that prevent Impression from being certified ready-to-go with the new system at this time.
