Impression Maintenance Update Released

The Babel Company has released an update for Impression, bringing it to version 1.81. Impression is a utility designed for the secure backup of optical disc directories. The maintenance update features Panther fixes. According to The Babel Company:

The Babel Company is pleased to announce the 1.81 release of Impression, a backup utility for Mac OS X.

Impression is a low cost backup utility used to back up directories to (and restore them from) multiple optical discs (CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD-R are supported). It includes a utility for erasing rewritable discs.

Impression 1.81 fixes a few notable bugs in the backup application for Mac OS X when running under OS X 10.3, a.k.a. "Panther". Application crashes when rejoining segmented files under 10.3 have been fixed. This version also remedies a crash if Impression was launched under OS X 10.3 by double-clicking one of Impressionis registered file types.

You can find more information about the Impression update at The Babel Company Web site. The Impression update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$20.00.
