Info Mgmt. App NoteBook Sees Upgrade

Circus Ponies Software, Inc. has released version 2.1 of its information management software NoteBook, adding a Starting Point system with pre-built templates for getting started faster as well as support for the Cornell Note-Taking system. The company noted that Cornell is "the most widely-used system for taking notes in North American education."

Other changes include better action item management, including Microsoft Entourage syncing, content integration and editing with LinkBack technology, one-step HTML export to FTP sites, and PDF creation that preserves intra-document and Web links.

This is a free update for all current NoteBook users. The full software is US$49.95, or $99.95 for a three-user license. NoteBook 2.1 is a Universal Binary that requires Mac OS X v10.3 and 256MB RAM.
