Iomega Announces New External Hard Drive Lines

I omega introduced two new lines of external USB 2.0 hard drives Wednesday, the full-size Silver Series and a new portable line. Both models ship bundled with Ioemgais Automatic Backup software.

The new Iomega Portable Hard Drives are USB bus-powered and feature a compact form factor, weighing just 5.7 ounces. The Portable line uses 4200-rpm drives and is available now in three capacities: prd_id=23942839&FOLDER;<>folder_id=24819287&ASSORTMENT;<>ast_id=63191&bmUID=1110996585358">40GB ($119), prd_id=23942843&FOLDER;<>folder_id=24819287&ASSORTMENT;<>ast_id=63191&bmUID=1110996585358">60GB ($149), and prd_id=23942847&FOLDER;<>folder_id=24819287&ASSORTMENT;<>ast_id=63191&bmUID=1110996585358">80GB ($199).
