Karelia Software has released an update for Watson, bringing it to version1.5.5. Watson is a Web desktop interface designed to simplify Web browsing and bookmarking. The update features Jaguar support and other enhancements. According to Karelia Software:
Karelia Software today announced the release of Watson 1.5.5, a maintenance upgrade to its pioneering desktop interface to the most popular Web content and services.
Watson 1.5.5 offers improved compatibility with Mac OS X version 10.2 (Jaguar), and adds a plug-in that uses the popular Google Web search engine.
Watson, winner of the 2002 Apple Design Award for "Most Innovative Mac OS X Product," was originally designed to retrieve information from Web services and to complement Appleis search utility, Sherlock 2. Karelia developed a faster, better web search tool when Apple moved into the Web services arena that Watson had pioneered.
