Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group (LAFCPUG) has announced that Avid senior marketing manager Tim Wilson will attend the groupis Aug. 24 meeting to demonstrate Avid Xpress Pro running on Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger."
The meeting, which starts at 6:45 PM, will also feature: author and trainer Kevin Monahan, who will show off tips and tricks for Final Cut Pro effects; Ripple Trainingis Steve Martin, who will explain how to animate titles to voice-over in Motion; and Final Cut Pro guru and author Tom Walsky, who will demonstrate working with filters.
LAFCPUG also expects to have the usual Show and Tell and Stump the Gurus events on the agenda. In addition, there will be a raffle. The group requests a US$5 donation at the door.
