Freeverse announced the immediate availability of Legion Arena for the Mac on Friday. The historical role playing strategy game puts you in control of a small group of Roman or Gaul warriors that you can build into a world-class army. Over 100 scenarios with 20 different fighting squads, including Praetorians, Elephants, and Naked Fanatics (theyire French), are available.

Legion Arena is a Universal Binary application capable or funning natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. System Requirements include:
- Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later
- 1Ghz G4/G5/Intel or better
- 256 MB RAM
- 1 GB HD space
- 32 MB VRAM (Rage 128 not supported)
Legion Arena is available now as an electronic download at the Freeverse Web site for US$39.95. The boxed version will be available in stores in the next few weeks.
