Lets Try That Again: MoonMenu 1.6.1 Released

Selznick Scientific Software has updated their handy and fun application, MoonMenu, to version 1.6.1. The new version corrects a bug that was present in yesterdayis 1.6 release. MoonMenu provides users with a wealth of information about the Moon and its current phase, as well as providing a graphical representation of the Moon in a useris menubar. According to Selznick Scientific Software:

MoonMenu Application
MoonMenu is an application that allows users to analyze lunar data like lunation, lunar phase, illumination, moon age, and upcoming quarter predictions. Easy to use controls allow users to explore all of these lunar data through any day and time. MoonMenu also has automatic "blue moon" detection which actually colors the moon icon blue.

MoonMenu Extension
MoonMenu is a system extension that draws the current phase of the moon inthe menubar. The menu, when selected, reveals a textual description of themoon phase, illumination percentage, the moonis age in days, currentlunation number, and upcoming quarter predictions. MoonMenu also hasautomatic "blue moon" detection which actually colors the moon icon blue.

Accuracy
Quarter predictions within the MoonMenu software are within one minute ofthose published by the U.S. Naval Observatory.
