MACWORLD Tokyo Keynote Web Cast Changed From Live Stream To "On Demand Archive"

First it was announced that Apple would be offering a satellite feed of the MACWORLD Tokyo keynote address at a new Apple retailer in Croydon, a suburb of London. Then Apple posted a Web page with information on a live QuickTime stream of the event for those in the States. The text from that page read (for the record):

Steve Jobs Keynote - Tokyo 2001
February 22 - 10am (Tokyo)
February 21 - 5pm (PT)

Watch Apple CEO Steve Jobs deliver the MACWORLD Expo keynote address from Tokyois Makuhari Messe Event Hall. See the live Web cast right here exclusively in QuickTime. Itis an event you wonit want to miss.

That page was subsequently taken down for a couple of days and replaced with news that the event would be available as an archived file:

Watch Apple CEO Steve Jobs deliver the MACWORLD Expo keynote address from Tokyois Makuhari Messe Event Hall. See the video-on-demand archive right here exclusively in QuickTime.

This means that the event wonit be available to those in the States until after it is over. You can find information on the stream at Appleis Web site. If we can find a local satellite feed, we will offer live coverage of the event. If you know of such a feed in the Austin, Tx. area, please let our editor know.
