MMISoftware Updates iCalMaker With iCal D&D Support

MMISoftware has released an update for iCalMaker, bringing it to version 1.5. iCalMaker is a utility designed as an iCal text file editor. The update features performance enhancements including iCal drag-and-drop support and improved importing recognition. According toMMISoftware:

MMISoftware has updated iCalMaker, the easy to use text-based appointment creation/editor tool for iCal files, to version 1.5.

iCalMaker now supports, drag-and-drop for iCal, vCal, text, tab- and comma-delimited files, and text-clippings; user-defined field order for tab- and comma-delimited files; export of iCal files to Eudora, Entourage and Mailsmith, as well as Apple Mail (requires 10.2 or greater); direct import of appointments from iCal; and text-based export in the users local language, date and time formats.

In addition, significant improvements have been made in the recognition of times and dates in imported text (both in plain-text and delimited files) and iCalMaker preserves URL, location, status and alarm entries between imported and exported iCal files (URL, location, status and alarm entries can not be currently viewed or edited in iCalMaker).

This release also includes a number of important bug fixes to improve compatibility with Panther (10.3) and iCal version 1.5.

You can find more information about the iCalMaker update at the MMISoftware Web site. The update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$25.00.
