MacSoft on Thursday released a Zoo Tycoon 2 update that fixes problems with the multi-touch trackpad in recent PowerBooks and iBooks. A bug in the gameis Carbon Event processing subsystem would cause random crashes. MacSoft said that players not experiencing the problem donit need this 1.0.1 update.
The strategy game lets players manage every aspect of a zoo, including animal exhibits, concessions, employees, and more. You can explore the zoo as a zoo keeper, or a park guest in 3D, and a bonus DVD with features from National Geographicis "Totally Wild" series is also included. Zoo Tycoon 2 is priced at US$39.99.
