MacVCD Maintenance Update Fixes Screen Bug

Mireth Technology has released an update for MacVCD, bringing it to version 4.1.6. MacVCD is a Video CD player designed for chaining video tracks together for seamless playback. The maintenance update fixes a full screen menu bug. According to Mireth Technology:

Mireth Technology has responded to the full-screen menu problem in MacVCD X that was reported on Macintosh related news sites and has released a fix for the problem.

MacVCD X is the easy-to-use, full featured Video CD and Super VCD Player for the Macintosh. VCD movies are frequently stored in multiple files (called tracks) and because of CD storage size limitations, are often stored on more than one disk. MacVCD X recognizes the VCD format, finds, loads and plays the movie for you, automatically chaining the tracks together and ejecting the disk when itis done.

You can find more information about the MacVCD update at the Mireth Technology Web site. MacVCD 4.1.6 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$19.95.
