Mac Doctors' Office Software Enters Beta Development

MacPractice announced today that its suite of Mac software for doctor and dentist offices has entered beta development. The company is shipping beta copies of MacPractice MD for physicians, MacPractice DDS for dentists, and MacPractice DC for Chiropractors to preselected test sites in a private testing cycle.

Looking forward, MacPractice said that the applications will be able to import data from MediMac, DentalMac, and ChiroMac. The original developer of those older apps is part of MacPractice, and is heading the development of the new applications.

The company has not yet announced pricing for the packages, but did say that it expects to ship the final versions in the first quarter of 2005. You can find more information on the apps at MacPracticeis Web site.
