MakeMusic Adds Intel Support, More to Finale PrintMusic 2007

MakeMusic on Tuesday issued a Universal Binary version of Finale PrintMusic 2007, the companyis entry-level solution for users who want to create, hear, and print publisher-quality music. The software can import and export MIDI and MusicXML files, as well as create orchestrations with up to 24 staves that can be transposed to any key and for any instrument.

Print Music 2007 also features auto-harmonizing, which turns any melody into a two- or three-part harmony, the ability to automatically add drums to any song or score, and Human Playback, automated swing playback and an integrated software synthesizer. Speed and redraw have also been enhanced, and coda systems can automatically be created. Various performance improvements are also included.

Pricing is US$99.95, or $29.95 as an upgrade. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.9, 256MB RAM, and 200MB free hard drive space.
