T hree-2-One Software has updated their ID3 tag editor, ID3X. ID3X allows users to easily create and change the identification tags that accompany MP3 files. According to Three-2-One:
ID3X is an editor for easy manipulation of ID3 tags in mp3 music files.ID3 tags are used to store title, artist and other information in mp3 fileswhich can then be displayed in your favorite mp3 player application.
New in this version:
- mp3 files recognition/compatibility improved
- Playing mp3 files is now handled by an internal engine rather thanQuicktime
- Type and Creators in preset popup menu are now correct and menu behavecorrectly
- Tab order of edit fields corrected
