Mandolux Posts New Desktops

Mandolux has released new desktops for download today. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux has issued seven new desktops: one Vector-based (Abstract), two Pets (Boston Terrier), and four Clouds & Skies (Nature).

About the desktops:

I’m proud to inform you there is a new theme titled 2ENTWINE - this is a collection based on the desktops I created for www.2entwine.com whose product, Gush, makes instant messaging and news aggregation simple, functional, and attractive (at the moment, it’s a Windows only but they are working on a Mac OS X and Linux version). In my humble opinion, Gush is going to be huge and let’s us hope they’ll bring it to the Mac quite soon

There is also another new theme: Pets and the first desktop is a close-up of my sisteris Boston Terrier - Gus. The desktop is available in normal and letterbox formats

Lastly, there is new dual giant Clouds & Skies monitor set: Seven. In loving memory to the seven astronauts who perish on February 1st 2004: Michael Anderson, David Brown, Kalpana Chawla, Laurel Clark, Rick Husband, William McCool, Ilan Ramon. I was really affected by the Columbia tragedy because as a child, the earliest memory I have is that of the Challenger accident (I donit even remember my birthday party or presents the two days prior to it). I took the photo as to convey the feeling you are going into the clouds and soon you’ll find the Sun.

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
