Mandolux Posts New Desktops

Mandolux has released new desktops for download today. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux (http://www.mandolux.com) has issued eight new desktops: three Vector-based (iPod/Art), one ViDRIO Amber (Ice/Macro), and four Giant Fire REDUX (Flames/Kitchen) pictures.

About the desktops:

  • I’m proud to provide you with my latest vector-based desktop: iPod • Love. This is a Giant (1920x1200) and Dual Monitor desktop setup of a vectorized iPod with a wriggly headphone cord been hold by a hand. The iPod screen has a heart and there is another, but much bigger, red heart to the right of the composition. Oh what a joy it must be to have an iPod – too bad I’m dirt poor to have one
  • There is a new addition to the ViDRIO theme: Amber. Amber is a set of desktop of ice set against a yellow-based light (no Photoshop manipulation) and the first wallpaper is titled Argel
  • Lastly, the latest fiery desktop is a Dual Giant and Regular Dual Monitor desktop setups titled Kitchen Flames. As the title implies, this is a photograph of a kitchen burner and it is set in a black background in order to bring forward the wonderful blue flames and overall composition of the photograph

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
