Matias Announces Low-Cost Keyboard

Matias today announced that its new OS X keyboard will debut next week at Macworld Expo. The OS X keyboard is a full-size keyboard with a number of features not found on other keyboards.

Borrowing from Matiasi higher-end Tactile Pro keyboard, the OS X keyboard features keycaps that have the alternative Option and Shift-Option characters available printed on them. Additionally, the keyboard features an extra Control key where the Caps Lock key normally resides (geared towards Unix users) and a Tab key on the numeric keypad to ease data entry.

The OS X keyboard uses rubber dome switches that "provide a quiet tactile feel, yet offer enough resistance to hold the weight of your hands" and features 2 USB ports. It will ship at Macworld Expo for $39.95.
