Media Browser Stimulus Gets Major Update

Electric Butterfly has released version 4 of its media browser Stimulus, adding Mac OS X v10.4 compatibility, a redesigned interface, a new thumbnails feature, an improved Favorites system, the option to open files in external applications, various performance improvements, support for AAC audio, AudioBook, and MPEG-4 video, and more.

This is a free update for registered users. The full software is US$19.95 and requires Mac OS X v10.2, 36MB available RAM, and 10MB free hard drive space. The developer said that Stimulus "runs fine" under Rosetta on Intel Macs, but it will still release a Universal Binary later this year.
