Miglia Updates Alchemy TV With 2:1 Window Size Presets

Miglia Technology has released an updated driver for the Alchemy TV card, bringing it to version 2.1.2. The Alchemy card is a television and radio tuner for your Mac, and the update features extended plug-in support and 2:1 TV window size presets. According to Miglia Technology:

Featuring a high performance Philips tuner and full QuickTime support, AlchemyTV DVR lets you watch TV in full screen mode on your PowerMac.

AlchemyTV DVR features a scheduled recording functionality allowing you program the time and date for your recordings in a few easy steps. Your favourite TV program will be recorded onto your hard drive for later viewing or export to VCD or DVD.

New features in release 2.1.2 include:

  • Extended plug-in support
  • TV window size 2:1 as a preset
  • Picture optimisation available in menu bar
  • Frame rate limit now handled directly by AlchemyTV DVRis QuickTime component
  • Live TV window in the Dock

Bugfixes:

  • Further improvement on 10.2.8 compatibility
  • Fixed occasional preference file corruption under 10.3.x
