MonkeyByte Improves Website

MonkeyByte.com announced an open house on their newly rennovated website. MonkeyByte has brought us a number of great titles including Kawasaki JET SKI and Monster Hunter, and the new site offers even more promise for gaming fans.

A new feature to the website opens up a section named "my monkey", previously closed to the general public. This allows the general public to download the latest Alpha and Beta versions of MonkeyByte games, play exclusive MonkeyByte Shockware games, and participate in the community chat forum.

"Weive made many new moves to enhance our site," states Yon Hardisty, Vice President of Monkey Byte, "and we feel this release represents a major improvement."

Segmented into "channels," the new site offers: Games, Music, Monkey Stuff, and "myMonkey" Community areas which "allow customers to browse by their interest," according to Hardisty.

MonkeyByte was started in 1995 as a games developer, expanding in 1998 to become a games publisher, and has just announced their intent to sell Music as well. You can now buy CDis of independently produced artists on MonkeyByte.com.
