Despite early fears, and some continuing complaints, it is turning out that people have found all kinds of way to "hack" and customize OS X. The latest craze, as reported today at OS X Talk (a great OS X resource), is the ability to change the "poof" that an app or file makes when you drag it off the Dock.
Not only is this apparently easy to do, but "poof pages" are starting to appear containing downloadable "poofs." One such page not only contains over 15 new "poofs" but also contains information on how to make one yourself, and how to further customize the Dock to take advantage of new "poofs."
You can find the full article, and tons of other useful OS X based information, at the OS X Talk web site.
