More New Products from Griffin Technology

G riffin Technology continues to roll out new products at Macworld Expo, announcing three more Thursday and Friday.

RocketFMFirst up, RocketFM is a USB bus-powered FM transmitter that allows a Mac to transmit its audio over any available FM frequency through a home, car, or office stereo system. The device is especially handy for travelers who can use their laptop to transmit audio to a radio in their hotel room or temporary office space. RocketFM will ship later this quarter for $39.99.

Next, TuneJuice is a supplemental battery for iPods with a dock connector (including iPod mini) that accepts a 9V battery and provides up to 8 hours of additional power. TuneJuice will also ship in the first quarter for $19.99.

TuneDockLastly, Dock800 is a FireWire 800 iPod dock connector. Dock800 is designed less for the extra performance offered by FireWire 800 and more for the convenience that using a FireWire 800 port offers. PowerBooks, for example, only have one FireWire 400 and one FireWire 800 port. With Dock800, users can plug their iPod into their PowerBook while keeping the more popular FireWire 400 port free. Dock800 is available for pre-order for $14.99 and like the other Griffin products will ship later this quarter.
