Native Instruments to Ship Traktor DJ Studio 3 in November

Native Instruments on Tuesday announced that Traktor DJ Studio 3, the next version of its mixing software, will ship in November. New features in this upgrade include four playback decks, integration with the online Beatport music store, a four-channel mixer section modeled after the Allen & Heath Xone:92, beat-synchronized effects, a customizable user interface, a performance-oriented parameter control and enhanced track collection and library functions.

In addition, this version can import music from iTunes and supports the use of iPods. Traktor DJ Studio 3 supports the MP3, WAV, AIFF, Audio CD, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis and non-DRM (digital rights management) WMA and AAC formats.

Pricing will be US$99 for upgrades and $279 for the full version. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.9, a 1GHz G4 processor and 512MB RAM. Native Instruments recommends using Mac OS X v10.4, a 1.25GHz G4 processor and 512MB RAM.
