New Desktops At Mandolux

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent several different themes including military and absract imagery. According to Mandolux:

I would like to tell you that from our last communicate, mandolux has issued 9 new desktops: 5 F-117 Nighthawk (aerospace), 2 Fire & Flames, 1 Austere Petal (nature/rose), and 1 Technosis/Anthraxis.

About the desktops:

  • The names of the new F-117 desktops are: Italian Takeoff, Holloman AF, F-117 and two F-16s, Tree Hills, and Rocky Landscape. These are the last of the Nighthawk collection and for that matter, the Blitz F-2K2. What’s next in aerospace desktops at mandolux? It’s gonna be a surprise!
  • The new series named Fire and Flames is just that – pictures of fire flames and other fiery things. This collection was inspired by the upcoming fires in Southern California due to the summer weather and a long drought in the state for the last two years. The names of these desktops are Adrian and Brunhilde
  • The new Austere Petal is a picture of a rose petal and it continues this amazing collection of desktops. Of all the desktops I have made, this collection holds the most lasting beauty since you never get tired of having it. I usually change my desktop on a daily basis – not so with the Austere Petals. It’s not that they are cute but they have something enigmatic and sweet to the eye. Of course that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong
  • And lastly, the new Technosis/Anthraxis desktops is a killer! It’s called Cabbies and in it, it has a panoramic image of some taxies and cars. The composition of the desktop is sort of weird but it works for most people

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
