New Desktops At Mandolux

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent several different themes including military aircraft and absract imagery. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux this week release 10 new desktops: 5 SR-71 Blackbird (aerospace), 3 Giants & Dual Monitor (nature/landscape), 1 Technosis/Anthraxis (abstract), and 1 Vector-based desktop.

About the pictures:

  • The 5 new Blackbirds are named: Gray Hills, Center Heaven, Dusk, Sidewinder, and Red Parachutes. Gray Hills and Red Parachutes are a most have
  • The new Giant and Dual monitor desktops are named Malibu. It is a picture of a section of Malibu at dusk
  • The new Technosis/Anthraxis desktop is named Trawl. Trawl comes from a family of abstract pictures that has been very popular (Thorax and Stirex been the others) in the past for this collection
  • And lastly, the new Vector-based desktop is named Melinda’s Shadow. It’s abstract and sort-of weird but it grows on you with time

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
