New Desktops At Mandolux

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux has issued this week nine new desktops: four Graffiti (Art), one Cap (Boston Red Sox), and four Vector-based
(Abstract/Art) desktops.

About the desktops:

  • The newest Graffiti desktop set is titled Bloody Brooklyn and it is available in Giant (1920x1200, 1440x900), Dual Monitor setups (1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1152x864, and 1024x768), and regular formats. It is a composition of many graffiti tags throughout the desktop set in a wonderful orange-lighted background. In my humble opinion, this is a wonderful desktop to have even though at first it looks a bit too crowded
  • The newest Cap desktop is from the Boston Red Sox and once again, it is a photo targeting mainly the logo in an almost macro view surrounded in an aurora of darkness. If you are a fan of a baseball/football/soccer team and would like to see their corresponding cap as part of my collection of desktops, let me know. I would really like to get caps from European soccer teams
  • Lastly, there is also a new set of Vector-based desktops titled Darkness Fall and it is also available in Giant (1920x1200, 1440x900), Dual Monitor setups (1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1152x864, and 1024x768), and regular formats. This is an abstract desktop composed of two stylized women heads with flowing hair set in a patterned background. The pattern size may look big to some users but it was design mainly to complement the dark background and the main objects of the wallpaper - the heads

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
