New Desktops At Mandolux

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux has issued six new desktops: four Giants/Dual Monitor (Landscape/Night), one Fire REDUX (Nature/Flames), and one Vector-based (Che) desktop.

About the desktops:

  • The latest set of Giants/Dual Monitor is titled Los Angeles V3 - a night photo with long exposure of the 405 Freeway. There is also in the picture a billboard for Apple’s iTunes Music Store. The desktop set is available in Giant (1920x1200, 1440x900), Dual Monitor setups (1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1152x864, and 1024x768), and regular formats
  • The new Fire REDUX is titled Clarimond – a slow-shutter photograph of a bonfire with wonderful fire flow
  • Lastly, the latest Vector-based desktop is titled Che – Believe! As the title implies, it is a desktop dedicated to the Cuban revolutionary: Che Guevara. The desktop is a two-color composition of his likeness and it uses a ghost-effect in the background

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
