F oxchange Software has released a new Mac utility that automates some very specific tasks. Called App Presto, the software currently offers three features:
- Hide applications that are no longer in the foreground.
- Automatically make sure all windows for an application come forward when the application is clicked. Currently this only happens when the applicationis icon is clicked in the Dock.
- Force quit the frontmost application with a simple key combination. This can be useful to quit games that have frozen up when the machine is in full screen mode.
App Presto works on Mac OS X 10.2 and above, and is shareware priced at US$7.50. You can find more information and download links at Foxchangeis Web site.
