New iPod Commercial Airs On TV (Screen Shots Included)

Apple is running a new iPod spot on TV, and the company has been kind enough to post it on the Web site, as well. The spot uses the same sort of negative-space imagery that Apple has been using to push the iPod on the Web.

At the end of the commercial, the spot shows a brief text image of "Mac or PC."

In typical Apple advertising-style, the commercials are branding efforts that attempt to sell a lifestyle, and do not offer substantive information about the iPod. The colors and imagery, however, and very new to the company which is known more for its use of white backgrounds and product shots.
