Bare Bones Software has released an update for BBEdit, bringing it to version 7.0.3. BBEdit is an HTML and text editor designed for Web publishing. The update features a new character preference option and interface mods. According to Bare Bones Software:

This update incorporates a preference option to control character set handling in HTML and XHTML documents, and a new HTML placeholder, #SHORTUSERNAME#, as well as various interface refinements and fixes for reported issues.
