Norbyte has released an update for Downfall, bringing it to version 2.0.2. Downfall is a strategy styled game modeled after the Tetris genre, but designed to take it a step further. The update fixes a bug and improved performance. According to Norbyte:
Software developer Norbyte has released version 2.0.2 of their 3D arcade/puzzle game Downfall.
Downfall takes the falling blocks genre one step further with its real-time 3D graphics and 24 uniquely designed implementations of the classic concept, each offering the player special bonus blocks and rules that fit the board, and requiring different tactics to master.
The updated version features an important bug fix and more.
News in this version:
- A bug in the Mac OS X version caused the game to display a black screen and no graphics on some setups. This has now been fixed
- The game now performs better on those setups
- The in-game physics has been slightly adjusted
