August Software announced the immediate availability of an updated version of its ODBC Router utility on Thursday. The new version adds support for interfacing with 4th Dimension. ODBC Router lets standard database applications like FileMaker Pro and now 4D exchange information with Open Database Connectivity-compliant database servers. It is also compatible with IBM DB/2, SQL Server, MS-Access, ORACLE, MySQL, Rdb/VMS, VAX DBMS, Informix, Ingres, PostgresSQL, and more.
ODBC Router is available at the August Software Web site, and is priced starting at US$169.
