24U s.r.o. has released an update for 24U Email OSAX , bringing it to version 2.1.1. 24U Appearance OSAX is a scripting addition for AppleScript, and is designed to be an automated email utility. The update features improved SMTP support and compatibility. According to 24U s.r.o:

24U Appearance OSAX 2.1 for Mac OS X is a scripting addition, that gives your AppleScript the features you always missed to communicate with user! It allows you to show error messages, generate dialog windows, open floating windows with text, display progress indicators and send notifications to the user. Still equally simple but much more efficient than the standard "display dialog" command.
The new features in version 2.1.1:
- better support for SMTP authentication
- improved compatibility with some SMTP servers (i.e. Lotus Notes)
