24U s.r.o. has released an update for 24U Appearance OSAX , bringing it to version 2.1.1. 24U Appearance OSAX is a scripting addition for AppleScript, and is designed as a dialog utility. The update features improved Panther performance. According to 24U s.r.o:
Today, 24U Software updated 24U Appearance OSAX to version 2.1.1. This scripting addition for advanced user interaction (AppleScript dialogs, text messages, progress bars etc.) now correctly works under Mac OS 10.3 Panther as well.
24U Appearance OSAX for Mac OS X is a scripting addition, that gives your AppleScript the features you always missed to communicate with user! It allows you to show error messages, generate dialog windows, open floating windows with text, display progress indicators and send notifications to the user. Still equally simple but much more efficient than the standard "display dialog" command.
What is new in version 2.1.1:
