OS X Users Can Easily Edit MP3 Tags

Three-2-One has updated their ID3 tag editor for MP3 files, ID3X. ID3X allows users easy access to informative "tags" that are attached to MP3 files such as title, artist, album, and others. These tags are used by MP3 player software to identify individual songs. According to Three-2-One:

We are proud to announce an updated version of our shareware ID3 editor ID3X for the Apple Macintosh!

ID3X is an editor for easy manipulation of ID3 tags in mp3 music files. ID3 tags are used to store title, artist and other information in mp3 files which can then be displayed in your favorite mp3 player application.

New in this version:

  • ID3X is now shareware (9 US$)
  • first Carbon version for use with Mac OS 9 and OS X
  • smart batch renaming (unlocked by registering)
  • finder comments editing added
  • bug fixes

ID3X is available for US$9. You can find more information at the Three-2-One Web site.
