OS X Version of The Complete Exam Dental Software on the Way

The Complete Exam and MacPractice, Inc. on Tuesday announced a relationship in which they will co-develop a Mac OS X version of the dental practice management and clinical software The Complete Exam. In the meantime, the companies are offering a solution in which users employ Parallels Desktop to simultaneously run Mac OS X and Windows XP, enabling them to use The Complete Exam in conjunction with MacPracticeis software.

Jay Altman, president and founder of The Complete Exam, said in a press release: "I was a bit skeptical of our software running on a Mac, having tried it before without success. After installing it on a Mac Mini Core Duo machine, I was blown away by the speed and graphics performance. Itis considerably faster than on my Windows PC."

The companies will demonstrate the integrated solution during the Florida National Dental Convention being held June 15 to 17.
