Old Site Adds New Features

Macinstein, the Mac centric web site/search engine that offers news, opinions, and information about the Macintosh community has expanded its range of features to better server the Mac user. According to Macinstein:

Macinstein.com, Inc. has added several new features to their free web support of the Macintosh. A PC Suffixes section has been added for the Macintosh user that have to interface with the PC world. We have compiled a list of Windows suffixes for people to easily locate the correct suffix for the file they need to exchange. As always, let us know of any we may have missed and we will be sure to add them.

We now have a one stop place to find Control Strip Modules to add functionality to your machine. Add CSMs to your Mac without having to visit each creatoris site. Simply visit our Control Strip Modules section and take any of the CSMs that interest you.

Macinstein has also added a search and feedback feature to their daily news. We get many requests for past stories and go through the same process to find them as you would. The new search feature searches titles and content of all our past news stories. Our daily news feedback forums (at the bottom of each story) allow visitors to be heard. We get many responses to our editorials and we are offering a place where your opinion can be heard publicly. Agreeable and disagreeable views of the news stories are invited. Only feedback entries that include violent or profane language will be removed. We hope this will give everyone a fair shake to make their comments and add their two cents to the stories we run. Each story has a link to add feedback to the story and displays if there are any comments (and how many) on each particular story.

You can consume all of their new features at the Macinstein web site.
