O lympus rolled out three new additions to its D-Series of affordable consumer digital cameras Thursday, the D-545 Zoom, D-595 Zoom, and D-630 Zoom.
The D-545Z is a 4.0-megapixel camera, while the D-595Z and D-630Z are both 5.0-megapixel cameras. All three cameras feature a 3x optical zoom lens, 4x digital zoom, include 14MB of built-in memory, and use xD-Picture Cards.
The D-545Z and D-595Z feature a 1.8-inch LCD and use disposable AA batteries, while the D-630Z sports a 2-inch LCD and includes a recharable Li-ion battery. The D-630Z further distinguishes itself by sporting a more compact enclosure thatis just 1-inch thick.
The D-545Z and D-595Z will ship in March for $199.99 and $279.99, while the D-630Z will ship in March for $299.99.
