The OmniGroup announced the immediate availability of the project management application OmniPlan 1.0 on Wednesday. OmniPlan is designed to help create logical and manageable projects, and supports resource management, task and resource scheduling, cost management, Gantt charts, and more. It also imports Microsoft Project XML, MPX, or MPP documents, as well as CSV and OmniOutliner files, and exports to Project XML and MPX, iCal, CSV, HTML, OmniOutliner, OmniGraffle, and a several graphic formats.
