Pangea Software Adds Intel Support to Bugdom 2

Pangea Software on Friday released a Universal Binary download for its game Bugdom 2, enabling it to run on either PowerPC- or Intel-based Macs. The update also improves gamepad and joystick support and enables players to customize their keyboard controls.

This update requires Mac OS X v10.4. Pangea founder Brian Greenstone revealed in an email to The Mac Observer that a Universal Binary of the companyis game Otto Matic is "sitting here ready to go; weill probably release it next week." Pangeais upcoming Enigmo 2 is already set to go as a Universal Binary, he added, and he hopes to get the original Enigmo, as well as Cro Mag Rally, converted to Universal Binary soon after it ships.

The Mac Observer is working on an article about the state of Universal Binaries in the Mac gaming world and will publish it sometime next week.
